Karagiozis Grammatikos
Last Teusday we watch a puppet theatre called Karagiozis which means "black eyes".
Karagiozis is a shadow puppet and fictional character of Greek and Turkish folklore. He is the main character of the tales narrated in the Turkish and Greek shadow-puppet theatre.
After the show the puppet master spoke to us about the history of the "Shadow Theatre" in Greece.
We asked him a lot of questions about how he makes the puppets, how he changes his voice with every character, which one is his favotite.
It was very nice. We had a great time.
Dear eTwinners have you ever watched Karagiozis? Here is a small video.
Giorgos, Aggelos, Christos M, Damiani, Maria, Sotiris, Lefteris, Despina, Harikleia, Dimitris, Giannis, Fotis, Petros, Fabio, Marios, Telis, Christos Z, Paraskevas
